McAllen ~ Irma A. De La Garza, a beacon of kindness and an embodiment of love, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on April 10, 2024, at the golden age of 75 in McAllen, Texas. Irma, born on June 23, 1948, in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, lived a life filled with warmth and caring, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Irma's journey began in the tranquil town of Montemorelos, where she was known for her loving nature and thoughtful deeds. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, as she nurtured and raised a family that revered and adored her. She shared an enduring love with her late husband, Felipe De La Garza, whose memory she cherished deeply after his passing.

Irma's legacy of love continues through her devoted son, Cruz F. De La Garza, who stood by her as a source of joy and pride. Her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit made her a beloved figure not only within her family but also in the wider community. Those who knew Irma were fortunate to experience her empathetic nature and her generous heart.

Throughout her life, Irma was admired for her ability to listen with an open heart and to offer comfort without hesitation. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm  on Monday, April 15, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeal Home of McAllen. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Iglesia Bautista Tierra Prometida in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
