Isabel Montalvo

Pharr - Isabel Montalvo, 79, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at her home in Pharr. She was born on Tuesday, June 3rd, 1941 in Michigan, the daughter of Ernesto and Aurora (Roman) Sierra. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Santos Montalvo; son: Raul Montalvo and daughter: Irene Montalvo.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Armandina Montalvo, Jacob Montalvo, Santos Montalvo, Jr. and Javier Montalvo; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and also deeply missed by grandson James M. Budde whom she raised from birth as her son.  

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 1:30 pm. Interment will then follow at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
