James N. Casas

McAllen ~ James N. Casas went to be with our Lord on September 2nd, 2021. He died due to heart complications at McAllen Heart Hospital. He was born January 23rd, 1979 in Falfurrias, TX to Juan M. Casas and Gracie Ramirez Casas. 
 
James will forever be remembered as a loving, kind, and spiritual person. He was quick-witted with an amazing sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. His godchildren Ali (his beautiful princess), Alexander, and Anthony Casas, and Jonathan Sankowski meant the world to him. He was an amazing son, brother, cousin and friend. James will be dearly missed by many. 

He is survived by his mother Gracie Ramirez Casas, brother Juan M. Casas Jr., sister Catherine E. Casas, along with his brothers Tony (Ana) Casas, Richard Casas and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.   

He was preceded in death by his dad Juan M. Casas, paternal and maternal grandparents, and his maternal uncles Armando, Rolando, Arnoldo, and Omar Ramirez, and Jesus Hernandez. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 with the recital of a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen, TX.
