Jesus Gonzalez

McAllen ~ Jesus “Jesse” Gonzalez, 37, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 31, 2025. Jesse aka Big “Bounce” was born on Monday, September 7, 1987 in McAllen, TX  to Consuelo Gonzalez.

He is preceded in death by his loving grandmother: Esperanza Jimenez; grandfather: Efrain Gonzalez and niece: Esperanza Gonzalez. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and a wonderful friend. Jesse played football for and graduated from McAllen High School in 2006. He took pride in being the Riding Academy Manager at Desperado Harley-Davidson. 

Jesus is survived by his mother: Consuelo Gonzalez-Reyes (Heriberto); sisters: Maria Elizabeth Villarreal (Domingo) and Eaneth Rios; brothers: Alberto Gonzalez (Jennifer) and Ernesto Rios III: nephews: Michael, Jeremiah, Jeremy, and Isaac, nieces Reyna, Sophia, and Carolina and the extended family.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Homes of McAllen. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church of McAllen. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. 

As we come together to remember Jesse, let us reflect on the joy he brought into our lives and the enduring love he shared with so many. He will be missed dearly and remembered fondly.
