Jesus Manuel Salinas Castañeda

Jesus Manuel Salinas Castañdeda of McAllen, Texas, passed away November 23, 2022. Jesus (Chuy) Salinas was born on May 18th, 1958 to Manuel Salinas† abd Olivia Castañeda†. He enjoyed soccer. Jesus' passion was fabrics and worked at Dos Rio Bravo Store in downtown McAllen for forty-seven years. Chuy was preceded in death by Manuel Salians and Olivia Castañeda (parents), Guadalupe Peña (sister), Apolonio Salinas (brother, Miguel Angel Salinas (brother), Maria Romula Estrado (sister).

He is survived by Sandra Isela Salias, Martin Jaime Salinas and Jose Salvador Salinas. He is also survived by Luz Faride Estrada (daughter), Martin Zavala Jr. (grandson) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitations will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, November 28, 2022 with the recitel of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. 

In lieu of flowers the family request monetary donations be made at the funeral home so the family can cover any final funeral costs and arrangements. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
