Joni Marie Brooks

McAllen ~ Joni Marie Brooks, 67, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on Friday, August 30, 1957 in Berwick Pennsylvania, the daughter of Benjamin and Constance (Frank) Fiester.

She is survived by her father: Benjamin Fiester; her loving husband: Dr. Thomas E. Brooks III; children: Capt. Thomas E. Brooks IV, Jennifer Freeman, Dr. Heather Brooks Avalar and Daniel Brooks; sibling: Dr. Autumn Fiester; 11 grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Cremation arrangement were entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
