Mission - Jorge Mauro Elizondo, 71, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center of Brownsville. Jorge was born December 19, 1942 in Mexico. He is the son of the late Jorge Alberto and the late Macedonia (Martinez) Elizondo. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jose Enrique Elizondo

He is survived by four sons: Jorge Amado Elizondo (Patricia), Victor Hugo Elizondo (Rosa), Eldemiro Javier Elizondo (Mari) and Ricardo Elizondo; one brother: Chuy Cavazos; two sisters: Aurora Crom and Luz Maria Zarate; daughter-in-law: Lydia Elizondo; 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. in Mission. Chapel service will be held at 10:30 Monday, August 11, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. in Mission. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Garden Of Angels Cemetery, Inc. - Crematory in Mission.
