Jorge Luis Nava

Mission ~ Jorge Luis Nava, 71, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Edinburg. He was born on Monday, December 28, 1953 in Torreon, Mexico, the son of Jorge E. Nava and Virginia Treviño. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son: Luis Jorge Nava and a brother: Arturo Nava.

He is survived by his loving wife: Anna E. Nava; his children: Jorge Alejandro Nava, Marcos Miguel Nava, Luis Miguel Nava, Erika Marina Nava (Ramiro Quiroz) and Lorena Rodriguez; his siblings: Susana Gonzales Nava, Fernando Nava, Juan Nava, Patricia Harris, Diana Nava, Hilda Tyler, Sylvia Nava Franks, Maria Lopez, Marissa Ceja, Virginia Nava and Daniel Nava; grandchildren: Stevie, Alyssa, Dante, Oscar and Ariana.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 620 N. Dunlop Ave., Mission with Father Roy Snipes officiating.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen.
