McAllen ~ Jose Carmen Rodriguez, 82, passed away on Monday October 13, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday August 26, 1943 in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Isaias Rodriguez and Maria de la Luz Saavedra

He is survived by his wife: Amparo Martinez de Rodriguez; children: Hector Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Beatriz Perez and Jose Rodriguez; sisters: Teofila, Corina, Concepcion, Raquel, Teresa and Imelda; brothers: Santiago and Benjamin; 13 grandchildren: Fryda, Jorge, Beatriz, Jessica, Isaias, Mia, Paola, Grecia, Galilea, Montserrat, Jolynn, Katia, and Giovanni; 5 great-grandchildren: Edgar, Abril, Sofia, Thiago, and Aleksander.         

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home, McAllen. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens Cemetery 5050 3 Mile Line Rd, Mission.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

Le sobreviven su esposa: Amparo Martínez de Rodríguez; hijos: Héctor Rodríguez, Jorge Rodríguez, Beatriz Pérez y José Rodríguez; hermanas: Teófila, Corina, Concepción, Raquel, Teresa e Imelda; hermanos: Santiago y Benjamín; 13 nietos: Fryda, Jorge, Beatriz, Jessica, Isaias, Mia, Paola, Grecia, Galilea, Montserrat, Jolynn, Katia, y Giovanni; 5 bisnietos: Edgar, Abril, Sofia, Thiago, y Aleksander.                           

El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 3:00 pm a 9:00 pm el martes 14 de octubre de 2025, y el rezo del Santo Rosario se realizará a las 7:00 pm en la Funeraria Rivera, ubicada en 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. El servicio religioso se realizará a las 12:00 pm el miércoles 15 de octubre de 2025 en la Funeraria Rivera, McAllen. El entierro se realizará a la 1:00 pm en el Cementerio Santa Fe Celestial Gardens, ubicado en 5050 3 Mile Line Rd, Mission.
