Our beloved husband, father, brother,grandfather, and friend Mr. Jose Davila entered eternal rest July 1, 2020 at the age of 62 yrs old. Jose was born November 18, 1957 in General Teran, Mexico to Candelario and Aurelia Davila. Jose was a long time resident of Mission. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for most of his life. He was a hardworking man who always provided for his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, going to church and praying. Jose will be forever loved and be remembered by his family and those that came to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parent; His brother- Candido Davila.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife- Sonia Davila; His children- Erica Davila (Sigifredo Perez), Leiza Davila (Julio Cesar Ojeda), Brenda Davila, Jose Davila Jr., His Sibllngs- Blanca Alicia Davila de Hernandez, Amanda Davila de Lozano, Maria de los Angeles Davila de Salazar, Lilia Davila de Vega. Exequiel Davila; Grandchildren-Vanessa Perez, Julius Trinidad, Jovan Ray Isaiah.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1813 N. Conway in Mission from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Mission. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
