Jose Abel De Leon

Jose Abel De Leon, 70, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. He was born on Monday, August 9, 1954 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Abel De Leon and Maria Luisa Molina.

He is survived by his wife:  Maria de los Angeles Lucio; children: Jacqueline Ann Lucio, Elisa Yvette Colombel, Diane Brooke Galvan (Osbaldo) and Ryan Abel De Leon; brother: Gustavo De Leon (Maria del Refugio); nieces and nephews: Maria Fernanda, Gustavo Jr., and Humberto; grandchildren: Jacqueline Bree De Leon, Chanel Bree Galvan, Osbaldo Galvan Jr., Kobe Abel De Leon, Alessandra Galvan, Kalel De Leon, Maddison De Leon, Leonardo Galvan and Anakin De Leon; great-grandchild: Aziel Galvan.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2024 with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
