Jose Guzman

McAllen ~ Jose Guzman, 75, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Friday, March 17, 1950 in San Jose de la Boca, Durango, Mexico, the son of Alfredo Guzman and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Hernan; and two brothers: Manuel and Gilberto.

He is survived by his wife: Graciela Guzman; children: Julian, Marissa, Rene and Ivan; brother: Fidencio; ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, October 27, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 923 Matamoros St., Mission. Interment will follow at 11:00 am at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N. Taylor Rd., Mission.
