Mr. Jose Maria Huerta,72, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. Jose was born on May 13, 1949 in Penitas, Hidalgo County Texas. He was a long time resident of Penitas, Abram, and Mission area. 

Jose is survived ny hos son Jose M. Huerta, Jr.; His brothers and sisters- Manuel Huerta, Juanita Robles, Maria Zuniga, and Maribel Gonzalez.

Visitation will be at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway in Mission from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St.Mary's Magdalen Catholic Church in Abram with burial to follow at the Ojo de Agua cemetery (San Jose Cemetery) in Abram. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in Mission.
