Jose Marcos Ibarra

José Marcos Ibarra, 88 años, entró en el descanso eterno el miércoles 30 de abril de 2025 en Doctor's Hospital at Renaussance en Edinburg. Nació el martes 17 de noviembre de 1936 en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México, hijo de Nicolás Ibarra y Guadalupe González.

Le sobreviven su esposa: Elva Ibarra; sus hijos: Adela Muñoz, José Marcos Ibarra, Jr., Nicolás Ibarra, Alejandra Pedroza, Enrique Ibarra, Patricio Ibarra, Armandina Gutiérrez, Verónica Ibarra, Elvia Ibarra, María Guadalupe Varela y Norma A. Ibarra; hermanos: Minerva González y Consuelo González; 33 nietos y 20 bisnietos. 

El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 3:00 pm a 9:00 pm el domingo 4 de mayo de 2025, con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 en la Funeraria Rivera de McAllen. El servicio religioso se realizará a las 10:00 am el lunes 5 de mayo de 2025 en la Funeraria Rivera de McAllen. El entierro se realizará posteriormente en Santa Fe Celestial Gardens, en Mission.

Los arreglos del servicio han sido confiados al cuidado de Rivera Funeral Home de McAllen.

McAllen ~ José Marcos Ibarra, 88, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Tuesday, November 17, 1936 in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México, the son of Nicolás Ibarra and Guadalupe González.

His is survived by his wife: Elva Gonzales de Ibarra; children: Adela Muñoz, José Marcos Ibarra, Jr., Nicolás Ibarra, Alejandra Pedroza, Enrique Ibarra, Patricio Ibarra, Armandina Gutiérrez, Verónica Ibarra, Elvia Ibarra, María Guadalupe Varela and Norma A. Ibarra; siblings: Minerva González y Consuelo González; 33 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm a 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens in Mission.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
