Jose Jacinto Trejo

McAllen ~ Jose Jacinto Trejo, 81, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born on Monday, September 11, 1944 in Weslaco, Texas the son of Norberto and Evangelina Trejo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Felipe Norberto Trejo; siblings: Petra Basaldua, Maria Trejo, Tina Olivares and Mingo Trejo.

He is survived by his wife: Felicitas G. Trejo; children: Eva Ontiveros, Jose Fedencio Trejo, Sylvia Trejo, Jose Basilio Trejo, Imelda Reyes, Jose Luis Trejo, Felix Trejo and Michael Trejo; grandchildren: Andre Lee Gutierrez, Andres Gutierrez, Abel Francisco Gutierrez, Adrian Seth Gutierrez, Adriana Sofia Reyes, Mirissa M. Trejo, Braudilio Torres Benitez, Annabelle Torres Benitez, Itiel Torres Benitez, Juliana Trejo, Felicity Blazer, Jayden Hernandez, Jose Jacinto Trejo, Jose Jr. Trejo, Jay Trejo and Ryan Waldorf.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, December 21, 2025 with a Holy Rosary at 5:30 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 22, 2025 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 900 S. 23rd St., McAllen. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
