Jose Vargas

Jose Vargas, 69, entered eternal rest on Monday September 14, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Thursday May 3, 1951 in Hidalgo, Texas the son of the late Jose and the late Julia (Martinez) Vargas. 

He is survived by his wife: Rosalinda Vargas; his children: Daniel Garcia, Veronica Vargas, Jose Alberto Vargas; Fernando Vargas and Rolando  Vargas; sisters: Maria Elena Vela, Juanita Vela, and Dora Valdez; grandchildren: Daniel Garcia, Jr., Stephanie Garcia, Cristian Melendez, Filiberto Prieto, Bethanny Vargas, Brianna Vargas, Bella Vargas, Fernando Vargas, Jr., Ashley Vargas, Laisha Medina, Juliet Medina, Damian Vargas, Dayanara Vargas, Mario Vargas, Jose Vargas and Rolando Vargas, Jr.

Viewing will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Hidalgo City cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
