Josefina Aguilar

 Josefina Aguilar passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on August 6, 2022. She was born to Rogelio and Edelmira Romo Aguilar in McAllen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father.

She graduated from high school in 1981 then studied nursing at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. Completing her bachelor degree in 2000 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her three children: Jose Marcos Gonzalez, Abraham Gonzalez, Cynthia Judith Gonzalez; mother: Edelmira Romo Aguilar; siblings: Rogelio Aguilar, Maria Elena Aguilar, Julie Barnett, Gustavo Aguilar and Ernesto Aguilar; Three grandchildren.

Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.. Cremation to follow. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
