Juan Miguel Mendoza

McAllen - Juan Miguel Mendoza, 44, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 21, 2019 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday ,April 28, 1976 in Pharr, Texas, the son of Jose and Blanca (Cantu) Mendoza. 

He is survived by his wife: Mercedes Mendoza of McAllen; his children: John Michael Mendoza, Nailea Mendoza and Genesis Mendoza; brothers and sisters: Gilberto Mendoza, Irma Mendoza, Gerardo Mendoza, Anabel Mendoza and Maribel Mendoza; maternal grandparents: Benjamin Cantu and Victoria Ayala.   

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2020 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
