Juan Andres Vivian Alaniz, 66, entered eternal rest on September 27, 2020. Juan Andres was born on October 20, 1953 to the late parents of Jose Guadalupe Vivian and Ester Vivian.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Juan Andres Vivian, Jr.
Juan Andres Vivian Alaniz is survived by his wife Maria de la Luz Vivian, his daughters, Alma Jessica Vivian, Vanessa Vivian, and Jazmin Vivian, his grandchildren, Yarexsi Salinas, Yaidaly Gonzalez, Yatziri Vivian, and Ian Vivian, his siblings, Luis Vivian, Victor Vivian, Jose Guadalupe Vivian, Adrian Vivian, Rosalva Ruiz, Rosa, Adriana, and Gloria.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Homes of Mission. Funeral mass will be held on October 1, 2020, at 10:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in La Joya, Texas. Interment will follow at Old San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.
