Juan "Meme" M. Moreno
Obituary
Juan M. Moreno, 73, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Juan graduated from Mission High School in 1969, excelled in athletics especially football, baseball and track. He is a Purple Heart recipient. Juan enjoyed spending time with family, nieces, nephews, siblings and grandchildren. Worked for Sears and Walmart. He was lovingly known as Moe and Meme.
Juan is survived by his loving children: John Moreno (Becky), James Moreno (Lori Hinojosa), Jason Moreno (Shelly); sister Ramona Dias; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley State Veteran's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
