Juana Hernandez

Juana Hernandez, 75, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at McAllen Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1949, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Isidra Ramirez and Francisco Gallegos. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Jesus Hernandez, her son Edel Hernandez, her brother Luis Gallegos, her father Francisco Gallegos.

She is survived by her mother Isidra Ramirez; children: Alberto Hernandez, Omar Hernandez, Edgar Hernandez, Iliana Hernandez, Lilia Williams, Ulises Hernandez, and Huriel Hernandez; siblings: Virginia Castro, Manuel Gallegos, Leticia Gallegos, Alma Gallegos, Blanca Gallegos, Xavier Gallegos and Veronica Gallegos; Grandchildren: Engelbert Almanza, Omar Hernandez, Ashley Navarro, Megan Saechao, Gerardo Marrujo,Jr., Jennifer Hernandez , Vanessa Hernandez, Alexis Hernandez, Cristal Hernandez, Margarita Hernandez, Hilaria Hernandez; Great grandchildren: Aileen, Santiago, Lillian, Niko, and Aracely.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment to follow at 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
