Juanita C. Treviño

Juanita C. Treviño was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 93 in her Alvin home.

She married Rafael S. Treviño and had three children. Juanita immigrated to the U.S. along with her husband and children. She was a hard worker all of her life, and worked along with her family in the fields of California for years.

Juanita was a loving person who enjoyed spending time and making memories with her children and grandchildren.  Her greatest joy was being able to be part of the caring of her great-grandchildren. She was also very proud of her family’s accomplishments no matter how big or small, she was always there to celebrate them.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Sr. and son-in-law, Fito Alvarado Jr.  She is survived by her son Rafael Jr. (Sofia),  daughters Lidia (Hilario), and Yolanda. Also by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed by so many.

Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with the interment to follow at 11:00 am at Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
