McAllen ~ Juliana Aguilar, 93, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home in McAllen. She was born on Tuesday, February 22, 1927 in San Benito, Texas, the daughter of Honorato and Juliana (Rodriguez) Delgado. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Manuel Aguilar Vela, on June 30, 1996: a son: Reynaldo Aguilar, on November 4, 1964; two daughters: Maria Josefina Aguilar, on October 4, 1974 and Maria de Jesus Aguilar, On July 25, 1955; and all her siblings.
Survivors included seven sons: Jose Maria Aguilar (Maria Sylvia) of McAllen, Nasario Aguilar of McAllen, Antonio Aguilar (Guadalupe) of McAllen; Ricardo Aguilar (Julia) of Plano, Texas, Ruben Aguilar of McAllen, Roberto Aguilar (Oralia) of Laredo, Texas and Rogelio Aguilar (Noelia) of McAllen; three daughters: San Juanita Aguilar Garza (Alfredo) of Mission, Graciela A. Canchola (Juan H.) of McAllen and Ma. Guadalupe A. Cortez (Francisco) of McAllen; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson,
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 30, 2020 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
