Lauro I. Cantu

Mission ~ Lauro I. Cantu, 56, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 12, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on Saturday, July 20, 1968 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Lauro and Francisca Cantu. 

He is survived by his children, Rudy Cantu, Anna Cantu, Karina Cantu, Yamilex Cantu, Lauro Luis Cantu III, and Damaris Cantu; siblings: Orlando Cantu, Maribel Cantu, Nora Cantu and Juany Cantu; ten grandchildren.                      

Viewing will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 om at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 16, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery, 6701 Garden of Angels Blvd., Mission.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
