Lee Roy Rodriguez

McAllen ~ Lee Roy Rodriguez, a generous and faith-filled man, was called home to be with the Lord on the 29th of November, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on October 3, 1974, in the city of McAllen, Texas, Lee Roy was a beacon of thoughtfulness and compassion in the lives of all who knew him. He spent his days working hard to provide for his family and being helpful to anyone in need even perfect strangers, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and unwavering faith.

Lee Roy was the cherished son of Reyes Rodriguez and Rosa Minerva (Ponce) Rodriguez, who instilled in him the values of generosity and devotion that defined his life. These principles carried through to his own family, as he became a loving father to three wonderful children: Lee Roy Rodriguez, Jr., John Rey Rodriguez, and Roselynn Rae Rodriguez. His role as a father was one he treasured deeply, guiding his children with a gentle hand and a heart full of love.

He was a beloved brother to Christopher Lee Rodriguez, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond and countless cherished memories. Lee Roy was also a loving grandfather to Isaiah Lee Rodriguez, Aubree Elise Rodriguez, and Xitlali Ray Rodriguez. His family were the light of his life, and he reveled in every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and laughter in equal measure.

Lee Roy's educational journey began in his hometown of McAllen, where the seeds of his faith were sown. He carried the lessons learned and friendships made throughout his life, often reflecting on how his experiences shaped the man he became. Visitation for Lee Roy Rodriguez will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. It will be a time for family, friends, and loved ones to gather in remembrance of a life lived with purpose and grace.

Lee Roy's journey on earth may have reached its sunset, but the warmth of his spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding those he loved toward the dawn of each new day.
