Lucila Gonzalez passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Village Care Nursing Home Center in McAllen. Lucila was 92 years old. She was born December 31, 1927 in Mexico to  Isidoro and Magdalena Gonzalez. Lucila lived her life in McAllen for most of her life. She lived life to its fullest. She will be dearly missed by her family and those that came to know her.

She is survived by her daughters- Virginia Wiggins and Enedelia Towers; Her sister- Lydia Perez; Her two grandchildren; Extended nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, March 09, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery in Mission.
