McAllen ~ Luis Antonio Suarez Gutierrez, 45, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born on Sunday, February 21, 1982 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Armando and Maria Guadalupe Suarez. 

He is survived by his mother: Maria Guadalupe Suarez; his siblings: Claudia D. Martinez (Julio C. Martinez), Nancy Karina Suarez (Vicente Martinez), and Armando A. Suarez; nieces and nephews: Bryssa A. Martinez, Cesar A. Martinez, Santiago Martinez, Ximena Martinez, Marcella Martinez; Karen Valdez, and Emiliano Valdez; and his dog: Buddy.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, January 23, 2026 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
