Born on January 11, 1979, in Mission, Texas, to Nasario and Maria Francisca (Segovia) Rodriguez, Magdalena was a beacon of light to all who knew her, embodying a blend of humor, courage, and passion that made her truly unforgettable.
Magdalena was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose family was the center of her life. She lives on in her adoring children, daughters Eliza Marie Moreno and Jannet Lee Moreno; sons Daniel Antonio Moreno and Caleb Yahir Moreno; cherished granddaughter Janelle Ivory Diaz; and the eagerly awaited granddaughter, Ivy Rose Boyd Rodriguez. Magdalena's legacy of love and strength will also live on through her siblings Martha Rodriguez, Julio Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, and Lupita Rodriguez, as well as her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and her eleven nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects to Magdalena at Rivera Funeral Home, located at 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen, on Sunday, March 8th, from 4 to 8 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 pm to honor her memory. The graveside services will take place the following day, Monday, March 9th, at 11 am at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens at 5050 3 Mile Line Rd., Mission, where Magdalena will be laid to rest.
Magdalena's life was a testament to the power of laughter, the strength of an independent woman, and the enduring bonds of family.
