Margarita Lopez

McAllen ~ Margarita Lopez, 89, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 3, 2025 in McAllen. She was born on Monday February 10, 1936 in Teran, Nuevo Leon, the daughter of Telesforo Hernandez and Juanita Perez. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anastacio Lopez; daughter: Susana Lopez and son-in-law: Javier Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children: Elia Lopez, Elma Rodriguez, Anastacio Lopez, Jr. (Amada), Ricardo Lopez (Maria del Los Angeles), Ruben Lopez (Irma Elizabeth), Ramiro Lopez (Norma) and Margarita Lopez (Lazaro Cuellar), sisters: Flora A. Garcia and Yolanda Cano; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2025 with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 10, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
