McAllen ~ Maria Cecilia Ramirez, 65, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 19, 2021, at McAllen Heart Hospital. She was born on Tuesday, November 22, 1955 in McAllen, Texas, the daughter of Rodolfo and Anastacia (Niño) Garcia. She was a lifelong resident of McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ruben Ramirez in 2010; brother: Federico Yanez; sisters: Maria N. Soto and Herlinda Palacios.

She is survived by her daughter: Stacy Marie Ramirez; son-in-law: Daniel Robledo; brothers: Jesus Yanez, Miguel Garcia, Robert Garcia and Rudy Garcia; sisters: Blanca Serrano and Josefa Muñoz; numerous nieces and nephews. 

My mother is a woman like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly she loved me unconditionally.  

There are not enough words to describe just how important my mother is to me and will always be a powerful influence for my life.  Mother I love you always
