Maria E. Garza de Gonzalez

Pharr ~ Maria E. Garza de Gonzalez, 95, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Monday, May 26, 1930 in San Nicolas de Los Garza, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Jesus Garza Lozano and Amelia Rangel. 

She is survived by her children: Martha Elva Gonzalez Garza and Aldo R. Gonzalez Garza; grandchildren: Isela Ortiz Gonzalez and Aldo Mauricio Gonzalez Arredondo; great-grandchildren: Aimee, Andy and Abril Noriega; daughter-in-law: Juanita Arredondo de Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
