Maria de los Angeles Medellin

McAllen ~ Maria de los Angeles Medellin, 76, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg. She was born Friday, February 20, 1948 in Doctor Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Cecilio Chapa and Josefina Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children: Guillermo Medellin Chapa and family, Claudia Patricia Ochoa and family, Carlos Arturo Medellin Chapa and family; sister: Josefina Chapa Gonzalez; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday, August 18, 2024 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 at San Cristobal Magallanes Catholic Church in Mission. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
