Maria O. Gonzalez

Mission ~ Maria Obregon Gonzalez, 88, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on Monday, November 1, 1937, the daughter of Ricardo Obregon and Josefina Cobarrubias.

She is survived by her children: Santa Juana Ramirez, Laura Elizabeth Treviño, Rosvel Jesus Gonzalez, Martha Helen Gonzalez, Francisco Guadalupe Gonzalez, Maria Josefina Rosales and Rosa de Jesus Gonzalez; siblings: Ofelia O. Saldivar, Gerardo Obregon and Armando Jesus Obregon.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, January 4, 2026 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Monday, January 5, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 620 N. Dunlap Ave., Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N. Taylor Rd., Mission.
