Maria H. Salas

Maria H. Salas, was called home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2024. Maria dedicated her life in serving others before her. She was a person who was never alone. Always had company coming over to see her to chit chat.  She always welcomed family and friends with a fresh cup of coffee, began cooking and making homemade flour tortillas for which she was well known for; they were her specialty!

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Maximino Salas, three daughters; Blanca B. Yracheta, Esperanza Ramirez and Oralia “Cory’ Garcia, Teresa Salas and Maximino Salas Jr. (brothers, Herrera) Alonso, Aurelio, Felix, Roberto, Antonio, Abrahm Jr. and Leopoldo

Maria is survived by three sons, Luis (Blanca) Salas, Jose Trinidad (Alicia) Salas, Martin (Isaura) Salas, two daughters Dahlia (Jose Fidencio) Muniz and Susie Salas Carrillo, (sisters) Benilde Canales and Minda Anzaldua. Maria has 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her.

Viewing visitation will be held on Thursday May 16, 2024; (immediate fam.) 3:00 to 4:00 PM (visitors) 4:00 to 9:00 PM - Rosary at 7:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
