Obituary
Maria Salinas Samaniego passed away March 19, 2023, peacefully in her sleep, just pass her 98th birthday. She was born March 16, 1925 in Pharr, Texas to Jose and Victoria Salinas.
Maria is survived by her loving children: Victoria, Ramiro, Luis, Martin, Sergio; her beloved grandchildren: Robert, Rachel; and her brother Jose Salinas.
Maria had a love for her Chicago cubs baseball team. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral mass will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Holy Spirit Church. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
