Maria Yolanda Gonzalez

Mission ~ Maria Yolanda Gonzalez, 68, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. She was born on Sunday, March 11, 1956 in Mexico, the daughter of Francisco Valdez and Maurilia Franco Cisneros.

She is survived by her loving children: Hector Eduardo Gonzalez (Irasema), Jose Francisco Gonzalez (Dulce), Jorge Alfredo Gonzalez (Mirella), Maria del Carmen y Salvador Garcia; her siblings: Aurelio Valdez and Maria Fidela Valdez; Grandchildren: Marlon, Monika, Damian, Dathan, Mackenzie, Joy, Michael, Julie, Jose Angel, Josue, Marian, Yuli and Michelle. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 am Monday, April 22, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens in Mission. Services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
