Maria Felicitas Navarro

Maria Felicitas Navarro,77 years old, entered eternal rest October 21, 2020 in McAllen, Texas. Maria was born February 09, 1943 in Tampico, Mexico to Leonardo and Celestina (Garcia) Navarro. "Lichita" as she was lovingly known , was a long time resident of McAllen. She loved playing "loteria" ,doing cross word puzzles, arts & crafts and enjoyed family gatherings. "Lichita" truly lived life to its fullest. She will forever be remembered and loved  by her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Maria Felicitas Navarro is survived by her children- Sergio Antonio Navarro, Jose Israel Navarro, Gina Mae de la Cruz,Giovanni Ali Navarro; Her sisters- Beatrice Recinos, Thelma Iliana Munoz, Patricia Garcia, Veronica Garcia; Her brother- Jerry Garcia; Her grandchildren- Vanessa D. Navarro, Sergio A. Navarro Jr., Amber R de la Cruz, Tristian Adam A de la Cruz, Alexsys A de La Cruz, Tyler A de La Cruz, Giovanni Ali Navarro Jr., Gionathan Navarro, Geison Navarro, Gustin Navarro, and Geff Lee Navarro.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:30 pm. Graveside service will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2:30 PM at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
