Maria del Rosario Barron

Mission ~ Maria del Rosario Barron, 73, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at her residence in Mission. She was born on Wednesday December 5, 1951, the daughter of Felipe Barron and Marcelina Arteaga.

She is survived by her husband: Victor Olvera; her children: Victor Olvera, Javier Olvera, Edgar Olvera, Jose Luis Olvera and Elias Olvera; 20 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3L00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, November 16, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 17, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 620 Dunlap, Mission. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens, 5050 3 Mile Line Rd., Mission.
