Matilde Santos Balderas

McAllen ~ Matilde Santos Balderas, 61, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1961 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Ramiro Balderas Sr. and Oralia Rodriguez Balderas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his siblings: Ramiro Balderas, Jr., Horacio Balderas, Maria Teresa Balderas, Eddie Balderas, Martha Elena Balderas Alvarenga, Yolanda Balderas, Cindy Balderas and Bertha Alicia Balderas Estrada. He is also surrived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, February 12, 2024 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be said at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Serving as honorary pallbearers would be: Horacio Balderas, Ramiro Balderas, Jr., Joaquin Rios, Esteban Daniel Hernandez, Mark Mandujano and Gilberto Duran.  Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
