Mission ~ Mauro Lopez Franco, 78, entered eternal rest on Sunday June 5, 2022 at his residence in Mission. He was born on Sunday November 21, 1943 in La Fe, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Jose and Natividad (Franco) Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Alejandrina Lopez Hernandez of Mission; his children: Sara Lopez of Mission, Eduardo Lopez of Mission, Mauro Lopez, Jr. of Mission, Jeremias Lopez of Mission, Daisy Lopez of Mission, Sharon (Steve) Hoyuela of Mission, and Esmeralda (Juan) Abalos of Mission; brothers and sisters: Jose Lopez, Fidencio (Ruth) Lopez, Juan (Maria) Lopez, Anita (Fernando) Montelongo, Adela (Luis) Lopez de Martinez, San Juana (Pablo) Lopez de la Cruz, and Socorro Martinez; grandchildren: Mauro Alejandro (Mariel) Lopez, Abraham Lopez, Steve Hoyuela, Mauro Lopez, III, Caleb Hoyuela, Juan Abalos, Jr., Isaac Abalos, Hanameel Alyssa Lopez, Stacy Hoyuela, Jessiemarie Hoyuela, Sara Lee Hoyuela, Lirioliz, Lopez, Elizabeth Rose Hoyuela and Catherine Lopez.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813, N. Conway Ave., Mission. Funeral Service will be held 9:00 am Thursday at Templo Mision Voz de Restauracion, 12449 N. Los Ebanos Rd., Mission. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
