Michael Anthony Esparza

Michael Anthony Esparza “Kirby” entered eternal rest on October 16, 2023 at Edinburg regional hospital. Born on June 13, 1986 in Portland Oregon. Cherished son of Rosa Esparza and Guillermo Gutierrez

He attended Nikki Rowe High School and was known to family and friends as Kirby, He worked at coastal cooling as a forklift driver which he loved and always had a smile on his face, Michael was a hardworking man and had a huge heart always willing to help anyone who asked.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Guillermo Gutierrez in 1996, his brother Roberto Gutierrez in 1990, his Maternal Grandparents Esperanza Esparza in 2017, and Marcelino Esparza in 2018.

He is survived by his daughter of 4 months Anahi Esparza, his mother Rosa Esparza. Siblings; Rogelio Gutierrez, Esmeralda Aguinaga, Tiffany Esparza, Beverly Hernandez, Ashley Esparza, Flor Guevara and Alicia Guevara, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins

Michael, your life was a journey of strength and resilience. Your spirit touched many lives. You are missed but your spirit lives on. Rest in peace Michael we love you.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Monday, October 30, 2023 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 11:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission.
