Mirtha E. Martinez

Brownsville, Texas ~ Mirtha E. Martinez, 48, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Harlingen Medical Center. Mirtha was born August 8, 1972 in Roma, Texas to Ramon Olguin and Juana Mirtha Campos Olguin. Mirtha worked for the State of Texas for over 20 years. She loved her children and family. Mirtha went out of her way to help those in need. She loved life, loved to laugh, and had a smile that could light up any room. Mirtha will forever be remembered, loved and dearly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved family; her parents: Ramon and Juanita Olguin; children: Angel Ruben Martinez, Ariana Alejandra Martinez, and Cristian Ruben Martinez; husband: Ruben Martinez; siblings: Maria Mata, Miriam Olguin, Ramon Olguin, Jessie Olguin, and Abraham Olguin.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 3:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd in McAllen.  Service arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
