It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nestora G. Blanco, who entered into eternal rest at the age of 84.
A woman of remarkable strength and unwavering faith, Nestora dedicated her life to the protection and nurturance of her family. Her greatest passions were found in her devotion to God; she spent countless hours composing music and playing instruments in His honor. Known for her traditional Mexican cooking and her bold, dignified spirit, she faced every challenge life presented with grace.
Nestora was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband and the love of her life - our father, Baldomero Blanco (d. 2024), and her cherished son, Raynaldo Blanco (d. 1987). Her legacy of love and resilience lives on through her children: Hilda Blanco, Juan (Elizabeth) Blanco, Francisco (Citlaly) Blanco, and Delia (Toby) Driscoll. She remains a source of eternal inspiration to her 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed, but her songs and love will live on in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission, Tx.
