Nora Hilda Vargas

McAllen ~ Nora Hilda Vargas, 52, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on Saturday, January 15, 1972 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Ventura Vargas and Andrea Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband: Carlos Hernandez; three children, Alejandra Martinez, Brenda Hernandez and Karla Hernandez; siblings: Felipe Vargas, Manuel Vargas, Anjelica Vargas, Javier Vargas, Irma Lugo and Angel Vargas; one grandson: Santiago Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, March 11, 2024 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen.  Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
