Odilia Esquivel

McAllen ~ Odilia Esquivel, 77, entered into eternal rest on Saturday June 7, 2025 at Village Healthcare and Rehabilitation in McAllen. She was born on Monday February 16, 1948 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico the daughter of Arturo Cantu Cantu and Guadalupe Garza Reyna. 

She is survived by her husband: Jose Luis Esquivel; her children: Jose Luis Esquivel Jr., Oscar Esquivel, Javier Esquivel, Omar Esquivel and Mayra Esquivel; siblings: Olga Cantu, Ofelia Rodriguez, Silvia Cantu, San Juanita Cantu and Ramiro Cantu; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, June 12, 2025 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 13, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N. Taylor Rd., Mission. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
