Ofelia R. Hinojosa

Ofelia R. Hinojosa, of Mission, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born on December 6, 1940 to the late Jesus and Maria Rodriguez, Ofelia lived a life centered on love, family, and her deep devotion to Jehovah. She was known for her strong faith and for the kindness, warmth, and compassion she showed to everyone around her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alonzo Hinojosa. 

She is survived by her children: Araceli (Mario) Loya, Guadalupe Hinojosa and Marisol Hinojosa; her Grandchildren: Zachary Knudsen and Kaitlyn Knudsen, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Ofelia was a loving and caring woman whose gentle spirit touched many lives. She was devoted to her family and found joy in caring for those she loved. Her strength, faith, and generous heart will always be remembered by those who knew her. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. A talk will be held that evening at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
