McAllen ~ Olga Martinez Morado, passed away peacefully at her home on December 2, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on December 5, 1951, in Donna, Texas, Olga's life was a rich tapestry woven with the love of family and the warmth of a community she deeply cherished.
Her family bonds were a source of immense pride and joy, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, Jose Morado, Jr. (Maria Olga Gonzalez), Maribel Morado, Marco Antonio Morado, David Morado (Christina Pulido), and Israel Morado (Marisol Moreno). Olga's brothers, Leopoldo Martinez and Armando Martinez, also held a special place in her heart. Olga's legacy is further celebrated by her adoring grandchildren: Myra Morado, Iliana Morado, Anahi Morado, Jasmine Morado, Marco Antonio Morado, Jr., Jacob Morado, Zoe Morado, Leonel Morado, Oziel Morado, Isabella Morado, Marcelo Morado, and Santiago Morado, as well as her cherished great-grandchild, Xavier Virgil. Each of them was touched by Olga's unwavering love and the life lessons she imparted.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Olga's life. Visitation will be on Friday, December 12, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. A Chapel Service will follow on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM, also at Rivera Funeral Home. Olga's interment will take place on Saturday, December 13, at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens on Taylor Rd in Mission, where she will be laid to rest.
