McAllen ~ Oliva Sanchez, 74, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. 

She is survived by her husband: Reynaldo Sanchez, Sr.; daughter: Melinda and her husband Kevin Wolter; son: Reynaldo Sanchez, Jr.; grandchildren: Michael Rey Perez, Andrea Iliana Sanchez and Cameron Michael Jones. Olivia had five siblings: Yolanda Cabrera and spouse Gilberto Cabrera† -deceased, Alicia Villarreal and spouse Hector Villarreal and Rachel Navarro and spouse Adan Navarro, Joe Pineda† -deceased and spouse Alma Pineda and Eligio Pineda, Jr.† -deceased.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 27, 2021 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen,
