Alton ~ Omar Martinez Jr., 29, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on Monday, July 29, 1996, in McAllen, Texas, the son of Omar Martinez and Myra Martinez.

Omar is survived by his beloved spouse, Aimee Castillo; daughter, Jade Omari Martinez; sisters, Leslie Martinez and Ruby Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025, with a Holy Rosary being held at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2025, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Interment will follow at 12:00 pm to Santa Fe Cemetery in Mission.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission.
