Oralia Cortina

McAllen ~ Mrs. Oralia Cortina, 73, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home in McAllen. She was born on Monday, September 29, 1947 in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Guadalupe and Guadalupe Vela. 

She is survived by her children: Mirella Cantu (Ismael Cantu), Oralia Cortina, Irene Gonzalez (Javier Salinas†), Humberto Cortina and Noe Cortina; grandchildren: Diego Gonzalez, Lucio Gonzalez, Eduardo Gonzalez, and Orlando Cortina.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, September 21, 2021 with a recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be said at 10:00 am  Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
